On-Cabin tickets shall be provided at the waiting hall of Gulmarg Gondola from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM everyday to all those tourists who don't possess online tickets.

• 👉 It is notified for the information of all the tourists that no show and non reporting tickets having visiting date from 22nd April to 05th May 2025 shall be refunded in full.
• 👉 ⁠Also the online tickets booked till 22nd of April 2025 having a visit date up to 22nd June 2025 shall be refunded in full in case of online cancellation/s affected/ initiated up to 10th of May 2025.
• 👉 Any ticket cancelled after 10th of May 2025 shall be levied cancellation charges as per the previous cancellation/ refund policy.

Introducing Joy Ride to and fro Kongdoori to Mary Shoulder for Tourists with effect from 3rd April 2025 upto 15th May 2025 on Trial Basis.

• 👉 A total distance of 3.2 Kilometers
• 👉 With a vertical rise of 498 Meters.
• 👉 Having 90 Chairs and 16 Towers.

In view of Eid Festival On Cabin Ticket facility shall remain suspended on 31st March and 01 April-2025. However routine Gondola Services shall be functional for the said dates and only those tourists having online tickets shall be allowed to avail Gondola Services from 9:00 AM onwards.

In order to provide a user friendly interface and seamless experience to tourists the J&K Cable Car Corporation has developed a fully dynamic official website - www.jammukashmircablecar.com.
Besides an online e-ticketing booking system has been developed for the Makhdoom Sahab Ropeway Project.

The official website of JKCCC and online ticketing portal for Makhdoom Sahab Ropeway Project with revised rates was inaugurated on 12th of March 2025 at Kongdori, Gulmarg by Jinab Omar Abdullah Sb, Hon’ble Chief Minister of J&K in presence of:

On demand of the tourists the advance booking window has been extended to 60 days instead of 29 days. Tourists can now book tickets well in advance upto 2 Months. Since the website is in public domain , bookings are done on first come first serve basis.

In the interest of tourism and in league to the committement to serve the tourists in a better way with conviction to curb any kind of black marketing and hoarding of tickets, the JKCCC has decided to provide on spot Cabin Ticketing Facility to tourists for Gulmarg Gondola Project Phase-1in Slot -1. The tickets shall be provided only to those tourists who report at GGP Waiting Hall Counter from 8:00am to 9:00am and board the Cabins directly w.e.f., 22 January 2025 till further orders. The Cabin Ticketing Facilitation shall strictly close at 9:00am.

Cable car corporation has offered special offers on Gondola ride at Makhdoom sahab ropeway for tourists/devotees from 19th of January till further orders. So come and grab the opportunity and enjoy the marvelous ride in the backdrop of Kohimaraan. One- way ride, Rs. 50 only. Two-way ride Rs.75 only.

As per the new cancellation policy, tickets can be cancelled only atleast 02 days prior to the visit date with 50% cancellation Charges.

All the tourists visiting gulmarg gondola are advised to carry e-copy of their tickets in pdf format in their mobille phones / tablets. All the travel agents are also advised to provide soft copies of tickets to clients instead of hard copies to promote digital india and save environment.
